Suggested use

½ tsp in water 1–2x/day, at least 30 min (ideally 2 hrs) away from food, medications, or other supplements. Consume immediately after mixing. Not for prolonged use.

We recommend mixing ZeoBind® with water, juice, or milk and drinking it quickly. ZeoBind® can also be combined with food.

Q: How does clinoptilolite zeolite work as a GI binder?

A: Clinoptilolite zeolite has a rigid, negatively charged aluminosilicate lattice structure that selectively attracts and captures positively charged compounds — including heavy metals such as lead, mercury, and cadmium, as well as ammonia and certain environmental toxins — through a process of ion exchange within the gastrointestinal tract. At ~40 microns, ZeoBind® acts exclusively in the GI lumen without systemic absorption, supporting their fecal elimination through normal digestive processes.*

Q: Why must ZeoBind® be taken away from food, medications, and other supplements?

A: Because zeolite's ion-exchange binding activity is non-selective within its size and charge parameters, taking ZeoBind® too close to food, medications, or other supplements could theoretically bind beneficial nutrients or reduce the absorption of co-administered compounds. Biopure recommends at least 30 minutes — and ideally 2 hours — away from other supplements, medications, and food to ensure selective binding of targeted compounds.*

      Only zeolite I would use

      Love it as a general binder and combination with chlorella and chlorophyll. Chlorella can be expensive so reducing some of that and adding this is a good balance. Also not at all constipating for me like bentonite clay- not to mention a sudden lack of bentonite clay being labeled for human use. Would love to see biopure bring their bentonite back. Coming from someone that ‘should’ know, this is also particularly good at binding histamine which is great for MCAS. Generally just love this.

      One of my favorite binders

      Love this stuff! It dissolves easily in water. I keep it on hand whenever I'm exposed to heavy metals and mold.
