A: Yes. Hot water can degrade the liposomal structure and reduce the effectiveness of nutrient delivery. To maintain the integrity of the nonemulsified phosphatidylcholine liposomes, avoid mixing Biopure CockTail® with hot liquids. The presence of alcohol in the formula is critical for maintaining the liposomal particle size integrity.* If you need to dilute the tincture, dilute in 1 to 2 ounces of room temperature water, hold for 30 seconds in mouth, then swallow.
